My family and I stayed at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando over 4th of July week. This was at least my 11th stay at this wonderful hotel. I frequent Disney with my two little ones, but find it necessary to “get away” from “everything” Disney during my trip. (more…)

Having just stayed at the Orlando World Center Marriott, I can attest to the beauty of the property along with the options that are included. The rooms in much of the hotel have gone through a soft goods update over the last year and are lovely. (more…)

I was fortunate to participate in the Vacation.com conference in Orlando this past June. I stayed at the Orlando World Center Marriott as they were the host hotel for the convention. Not only did they do a fabulous job with our convention, but the entire experience was delightful. Someone greeted us upon arrival and directed us to the check-in area. Everything at check-in was handled efficiently and accurately. (more…)

Well, I’m back from our stay at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando! Great hotel and especially worth its gold with the Universal Express pass that comes with any onsite hotel stay. Lines at all parks were long and we just whipped right thru and onto the ride or show! Universal Express is valid at all rides except the new ones- Harry Potter Forbidden Journey and Rip Rocket roller coaster. An onsite stay also allows you to charge anything at any of the parks back to your room and also any purchases can be delivered back to your onsite hotel, so no lugging your purchases around for the day. (more…)

Keep the Disney hotels, the Hyatt Grand Cypress is the best place to stay in the area. For over 20 years the Hyatt Grand Cypress has been the leading hotel in the Orlando area, and after a total renovation, completed at the end of last year, it is not going to lose its place anytime soon. (more…)

Disney’s Coronado Springs is one of the best moderate resorts at Walt Disney World. The Southwestern theme is carried over to all parts of the resort in a very enticing way. Coronado Springs is also the only moderate resort with a health club and hair salon located on property. The rooms are clean with plenty of space for your family. There are really no bad rooms as most rooms have been upgraded to include queen beds and flat-screen TVs. Pepper Market has many choices of cuisine to please your entire family which, to me, makes it a great food court. The feature pool is a Mayan temple with water slides and hot tubs; it’s a huge hit with the kids. Each separate resort area has quiet pools that are very relaxing for a little down time with your family. All in all the transportation system, staff, pools, rooms, all of it is wonderful and a treat for your entire family.
