I stayed at the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa in late October 2010 while in Honolulu for 3 nights. It was a marvelous, restful place to be as the room was huge, with a desk which had a beautiful arrangement of fruit and water on it upon my arrival-just what you need when you finally get to your destination …finally, you are THERE in your room. The Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa is located about a half mile from Lewers Street away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. The resort has 5 pools (including the “super pool” which is the largest in Waikiki and the Paradise Pool with 4 waterslides), 7 towers, 2860 rooms, a private lagoon, the widest sand beach in Waikiki and a private salt water lagoon (great for snorkeling and paddle boarding). Outrigger Reef on the Beach was built in 1956 and just received a $110 million renovation. There are 639 rooms located adjacent to the shops and restaurants of the new Waikiki Beach Walk. The rooms are located in two towers (Pacific and Ocean Towers). (more…)

The Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa is located across the street from a beautiful section of Waikiki beach. Chairs and umbrellas are provided for Hyatt guests at the beach. The resort has 1230 rooms and suites and is situated in two towers on top of a mall with 60 shops and restaurants. (more…)

The “Pink Palace of the Pacific” was closed in 2008 and emerged after a $60 million renovation as a Luxury Collection Resort. The Royal Hawaiian has 528 rooms split between the Historical Wing and the Ocean Tower Wing. (more…)

I stayed at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach in Oahu on 9/10/10, the renovations are outstanding - especially the rooms. Our room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning, lots of hot water, in-room safe, etc. (more…)

Although it is technically across Kalakaua Avenue from Waikiki Beach, the main drag in Waikiki, the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa sports an unobstructed view of Waikiki Beach. No hotels, no high-rises between you and the famous blue waters of Waikiki.
