Couples Negril is a fantastic resort! The beach is outstanding and the service is top notch. The resort is located on a half mile stretch of white sand beach named “Bloody Bay”. The water is turquoise, very shallow and very calm. The resort has old Caribbean charm with a refined elegance. (more…)

I was very impressed with Beaches Negril Resort & Spa. It is located on a beautiful stretch of white sand on Seven Mile Beach in Jamaica. Despite having such a large beach and pool area, there are only 210 rooms. There are 5 restaurants (including 1 adults-only) along with the three available at Beaches Sandy Bay. (more…)
Couples Swept Away in Jamaica is a beautiful resort. As the name refers to, the resort wants to sweep you away from the stress of your daily life. As with Couples Negril, the lobby is wired for Wi-Fi, and there is free internet access in the lobby. The lobby has the same Caribbean sea foam green color scheme as Couples Negril. (more…)

I just returned from the RIU Palace Tropical Bay in Negril, Jamaica where we spent 4 nights there on Aug 21-25. The front desk staff on arrival is excellent. We arrived too late for dinner reservations for the 1st 2 nights and ‘Cloyd’ (like Floyd with a C) took it upon himself to get us reservations for the 1st two nights. Couples Swept Away is an all-inclusive, adult only resort that is spread out over 27 acres with 10 acres housing a magnificent spa, sports and fitness complex. This property is on an unspoiled stretch of Negril’s Seven Mile Beach consisting of 1,500 feet and within walking distance to downtown Negril. I just returned from a trip to Beaches Negril Resort & Spa in Jamaica. If you have children, then this is the place to go. The resort is about an 1 hr & 20 minutes from the airport, which is really not that bad. When checking in we received cool towels & a drink, which is always nice. I recently spent 5 nights at the Beaches Negril Resort & Spa in Jamaica. The resort is a large complex with beautiful pools including many swim-up bars. There is a large tubular slide and Lazy River swim with life jacket required. The water sports are great and the employees are very nice to every person. (more…)

We stayed at Sandals Negril in Dec and they are truly an ultra inclusive resort. Beautiful 7 mile beach with spectacular sunsets. Friendly staff and great food. The butler category is a once in a lifetime experience loved it.
