I visited this property during a travel agent familiarization for Aubree’s Travel. The Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort & Private Island is a smaller Sandals property that I really like. I think the rooms are very nice, the grounds amazingly well kept, and the off-shore island is a HUGE perk. I really like the “British Colonial” feel of this property. (more…)
We spent a relaxing and fun week in Negril, Jamaica at Couples Swept Away. Negril, on its own, is a great destination in Jamaica. The people are very friendly, laid back and they love music. Negril is the party section of Jamaica and couldn’t be any further from the turmoil in Kingston if it were on the moon. (more…)
I recently returned from Jamaica with the Jamaica Tourist Board & was able to see Secrets St. James Montego Bay & Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay. Both are very similar with just a difference in theme. Secrets St. James is more of a British Colonial type with earthy colors, while Secrets Wild Orchid has more of an Oriental Flare to it. (more…)
In September, I stayed at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach in Montego Bay, Jamaica. This resort is set along a beautiful stretch of beach. The staff and the food were excellent. Their nightly shows were typical island shows but still fun to watch. (more…)
Secrets Wild Orchid and Secrets St James Montego Bay are beautiful resorts in a very scenic setting with the hills in the background. The resort sits on a private stretch of beach on the beautiful turquoise Caribbean Sea. Secrets Wild Orchid is closer to the restaurants and the bars and is much livelier while Secrets St James is about a 5 minute walk to the restaurants and is much quieter. (more…)

I visited the Rose Hall Resort & Spa in April 2009 and was impressed with its family friendly atmosphere which was at 97% occupancy. The Rose Hall Resort is located in Montego Bay, which is a good location. Montego Bay isn’t a long bus ride from the airport and there are a lot of activities and sightseeing close by. (more…)
This past November I spent three wonderful days at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites in Jamaica. This hotel is set on a long stretch of beach in Montego Bay surrounded by the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach hotel on one side and the Iberostar Grand Hotel Rose Hall on the other side. My Lady (as they say in Jamaica). I just got back from staying at the Rose Hall Resort & Spa, A Hilton Resort with 36 lady golfers. The hotel which is located just 15 minutes outside of Montego Bay, just recently went through renovations which were very nice. Love Love Loved It!!!!!! My husband and I have visited Jamaica many times, and were so very excited to stay at the Sandals Montego Bay. An easy breeze through immigration and customs, and then on to the Sandals welcome center just outside of customs. We were refreshed with a cold Red Stripe while checking in and awaiting our bus. I just returned from a trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica. I spent some time at Sunset Beach Resort & Spa in Montego Bay. While there I spent some time at the beach, where many people ventured onto Sunset Beach for a tan and used the swim up bar and pool for their swimming pleasures. Every Thursday and Saturday native vendors come onto the property to sell their wares. (more…)
