We (Berman Travel staff) returned recently from the Iberostar Grand Hotel Rose Hall, Montego Bay, Jamaica. Amazing! An adult-only, 5 star, luxury, all-inclusive resort. All rooms provide butler service, 24-hour room service, a flat screen TV and a fantastic Jacuzzi tub. (more…)

The Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa is a great EP property on Palm Beach (the high rise section). The resort is a AAA 4 Diamond resort. The resort has beautiful zero entry pools with a pool bar and lush gardens and flora. (more…)

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana officially re-opened on November 1, 2010. The Hard Rock Hotel is enormous with 1800 rooms. The resort is situated on a gorgeous half mile beach with 11 large pools (many with swim up pool bars). (more…)

I just returned from Las Vegas and where I was able to tour a wonderful, brand-new hotel. Aria Resort & Casino at CityCenter has to be the most breath taking hotel and shopping center I’ve ever seen. I recently stayed at Circus Circus in Las Vegas for 6 nights in May 2010. Circus Circus is still the budget level hotel although they have made some upgrades. The bedding in the rooms is newer and they have a small refrigerator available in the room at a cost of $15 per day, but we were never charged. (more…)

I just recently returned from a week in Las Vegas. We stayed at the Paris, Las Vegas hotel and loved it! The hotel is located right on the strip. This is a great location as it is walking distance to all the big hotels and shopping on the strip. The ride up the Eiffel Tower is spectacular at night, plus you can watch the water fountain show at the Bellagio (across the street) from the tower. (more…)

The ride to the Gran Melia Puerto Rico was about 30 minutes. The property is located in the Coco Beach area, east of the airport. The entire Coco Beach area is beautiful and still under development. Next door is the Trump Resort and golf course and soon to be built is a Marriott. The complex that is the Gran Melia covers many acres. I stayed at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas back on October 25-27th. After landing in Las Vegas, I checked in at the registration desk at the airport at 8:30am, booked the round-trip airport shuttle from them and was on my way. Upon arrival at the hotel I went straight up to my room. There was no need for me to stand in that line in the lobby since I already checked in at the airport. (more…)

It was a sad day when we had to leave the adults only resort, Excellence Punta Cana. Upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of champagne and escorted to the Excellence Club private lounge with a brief tour of the resort along the way. After a quick check-in, we were taken upstairs for food and drink. Then we were escorted to our Excellence Club Junior Suite. A wonderful aroma greeted us as we stepped into our suite. We were greeted with a cold towel and a flute of champagne upon our arrival in the beautiful lobby of the Excellence Punta Cana. Because our reservations were in the Excellence Club we were escorted to the Club where we completed our private registration quickly. Grand Lobby, luxurious room with fully stocked bar, in-room Jacuzzi and a great view are only the start of your vacation at the Moon Palace Casino, Golf & Spa Resort.  It keeps getting better as you take the tram to the white sand beach (the property is huge and spread out - a plus for some people could be negative for other people.) With a few airlines flying nonstop every day, you can be in Punta Cana and on the beach by 2 pm. We arrived in Punta Cana and were on our way by taxi within an hour. We arrived at The Majestic Colonial and checked in at the front lobby. The lobby was as large as I have seen for any hotel.
