Staying in Barbados for 10 days is the ultimate in relaxation, good food, superb shopping, and a great driver taking you to the more local places that most tourists do not get to see. I stayed at the Almond Beach Village Resort, in a garden room with a lanai that had a table and chairs to sit on to reflect on the day’s fun and people watch. (more…)

If you love beautiful white beaches this place has the best! While staying at the Hilton Barbados, I had the opportunity to see a nest of turtles hatching and marching in single file to the Caribbean Sea! I just returned from a sailing on Star Clipper and wanted to stay in Barbados for a couple of days before boarding. I had a group of 5 with me, and found hotel prices for the accommodations we needed to be very expensive. I would say my favorite was The Crane Resort with its beautiful landscaped grounds, a variety of shops, hot tub and Jacuzzi with an amazing view and its beautiful pink beach.
