I traveled with my husband and my 6 yr. old son and stayed at the Divi Aruba Phoenix. This was their first time there, but my second. I wanted a big room with a separate bedroom and I knew the Divi Aruba Phoenix could accommodate this. The Westin Maui Resort & Spa was built in 1980 in the beach community of Kaanapali. The resort is located in the middle of the beach walk next to the upscale shops and restaurants of Whaler’s Village. The resort has an awesome beach and pool area with multiple slides and waterfalls. I stayed two nights at the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino and liked it a lot. The resort was under renovation back in February of 2007. All of the rooms were being renovated as well as the lobby and public areas. (more…)

I like the Occidental Grand Aruba. The lobby area is very modern with marble floors and contemporary fountains. There are several shops in the lobby as well as the guest services desk (same place where you would make dinner reservations), a tour desk, the lobby bar (with nightly live entertainment), and the entrance to the casino. I have been going to Aruba for over 20 years and there is nothing like the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino. You cannot beat the service or the friendliness of the staff.
