I traveled with my husband and my 6 yr. old son and stayed at the Divi Aruba Phoenix. This was their first time there, but my second. I wanted a big room with a separate bedroom and I knew the Divi Aruba Phoenix could accommodate this. We were in the 1 bedroom oceanview room on the 6th floor in the new building (room 864), the 7th & 8th floors are for the duplexes (2-3 bedroom units). (more…)

I like the Occidental Grand Aruba. The lobby area is very modern with marble floors and contemporary fountains. There are several shops in the lobby as well as the guest services desk (same place where you would make dinner reservations), a tour desk, the lobby bar (with nightly live entertainment), and the entrance to the casino. I have been going to Aruba for over 20 years and there is nothing like the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino. You cannot beat the service or the friendliness of the staff. Unlike some of the hotels in Aruba, as soon as you walk into the open-air lobby of the Hyatt Regency Aruba you feel like you are in a Caribbean Island. (more…)
