We, at Berman Travel, just returned from Paradise Island and Nassau. We had a site inspection of the Comfort Suites Paradise Island and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. No it is NOT a 5 star luxury resort, but it is clean, relaxing and a comfy resort and the staff were wonderful! (more…)

We took a trip to Orlando and Disney and stayed at the Nickelodeon Suites Resorts. I was very happy with our hotel stay. My son who is 10 years old was so happy with the hotel and all the services that they had on site. There were a lot of things to do at the property. (more…)

Sandals Royal Plantation is located in Ocho Rios, Jamaica about an hour and a half from Montego Bay Airport. It is one of my personal favorite all-inclusive resorts, anywhere. Boasting old world charm from the moment you enter the lobby, you are met and checked in by very friendly butlers greeting you with a chilled towel and a chillier Mangosa (champagne and mango). Overall, Now Jade Riviera Cancun is a great value for the money. The resort has 565 Jr Suites divided into 5 room categories. The Preferred Club rooms are larger and offer fantastic views and locations closer to the beach and the quiet pool. There are two large pools both with swim up pool bars. (more…)
I recently returned from Jamaica with the Jamaica Tourist Board & was able to see Secrets St. James Montego Bay & Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay. Both are very similar with just a difference in theme. Secrets St. James is more of a British Colonial type with earthy colors, while Secrets Wild Orchid has more of an Oriental Flare to it. (more…)

We recently stayed at THE ROYAL in Cancun and may I say the property does have the “WOW” factor. Every room in the resort has a view of the ocean, and the rooms are amazing with Jacuzzi tubs and double headed marble showers, aroma scents, private pillow menu and separate check-in can be added by booking the Royal Service and its so worth it. I had the opportunity to stay at the Valentin Imperial Maya in Riviera Maya, twice in the last two years. It is a beautiful resort offering excellent gourmet dining in all of the restaurants. You don’t need a reservation for dinner, but if the resort is busy, so you may have to wait to be seated. (more…)
I recently had an opportunity to visit the Royal Plantation Resort in Ocho Rios. Upon entering this intimate all suite property, we were greeted with cold towels and champagne. We were seated in comfy sofas and chairs to complete the 3 minute check-in process and then we were whisked away to our beautiful Jr suite - all rooms overlook the ocean. (more…)
