Secrets Wild Orchid and Secrets St James Montego Bay are beautiful resorts in a very scenic setting with the hills in the background. The resort sits on a private stretch of beach on the beautiful turquoise Caribbean Sea. Secrets Wild Orchid is closer to the restaurants and the bars and is much livelier while Secrets St James is about a 5 minute walk to the restaurants and is much quieter. (more…)

Couples Negril

Couples Negril is an all-inclusive adult only resort and is spread out over 18 acres with a 2.5 mile half moon shaped beach. It takes about a little over an hour from the airport to arrive at this resort. Couples Swept Away

Couples Swept Away is an all-inclusive, adult only resort that is spread out over 27 acres with 10 acres housing a magnificent spa, sports and fitness complex. This property is on an unspoiled stretch of Negril’s Seven Mile Beach consisting of 1,500 feet and within walking distance to downtown Negril. Valentin Imperial Maya Resort & Spa

I visited this all-inclusive adults-only resort for my 10th anniversary and absolutely loved it! The grounds at the Valentin Imperial Maya Resort & Spa are large and beautifully landscaped with many gardens, water-features and wildlife. Because of the layout, we never felt crowded even though we were there at a busy time. This resort is a great choice for a relaxing, romantic vacation. (more…)

THE ROYAL in Cancun

We recently stayed at THE ROYAL in Cancun and may I say the property does have the “WOW” factor. Every room in the resort has a view of the ocean, and the rooms are amazing with Jacuzzi tubs and double headed marble showers, aroma scents, private pillow menu and separate check-in can be added by booking the Royal Service and its so worth it. Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

From the moment we arrived, this resort was drop dead gorgeous with mosaic tile and granite everywhere. The main building at the Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun resort displays an impressive lobby where you can find a wonderful bar stocked with top shelf liquor, including Grey Goose and Don Julio. This lobby also houses several upscale gift shops and a beautiful lobby much like you might find at any 5 star resort. (more…)

My husband and I recently stayed at Couples Tower Isle, Ocho Rios, Jamaica for the third time. We’ve been to Jamaica 7 times, but this is our favorite resort. The journey starts when you arrive at the airport. Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

I returned home from Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun in April and plan to return again in November. I have been going to this property in the Riviera Maya twice a year since it opened in August 2008. I have yet to find a more suitable place for adults. If you’re looking for an all-inclusive escape with a beautiful beach, the ability to have steak & shrimp for lunch in your suite or by the pool, then this is the place for you. (more…)

Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso

The entrance at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso is grand in everyway and includes an indoor garden that reminds me of the Bellagio in Las Vegas. All the marble and carpeted hallways leading to the rooms are located inside…something that is unique to most if not all the Riviera Maya resorts. All the rooms are Junior Suites and are very nicely done with good quality furnishings and the bathrooms have a separate toilet room, shower and upgraded amenities. (more…)

The Maroma Resort & Spa is a lovely little hotel! It is part of the Orient Express brand and it is like a mini Royal Hideaway on a much nicer beach and not all inclusive. The resort is small and romantic, and is adults only. The rooms are really like junior suites and have pretty romantic bedding with netting and floral displays on the bed. (more…)

Royal Hideaway Playacar

I have always loved the Royal Hideaway Playacar resort in Riviera Maya and still do. They have made it even better with new restaurants and a really nice dinner/theater. My recent trip to Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun resort was for a short 2 night stay while working in the Riviera Maya area just south of Cancun. I upgraded to the private black car transfer and would highly recommend this to all clients. This new luxury hotel (7 buildings/3 stories high) is practically in a secluded area, located on a nice quiet beach, about 20 minutes from both the Cancun Airport and Playa del Carmen. (more…)

As a Master Specialist I had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun resort in Riviera Maya. This resort has 433 suites that include queen or king-size beds, Jacuzzi bath tubs, bathrobes and slippers, lots of cabinet/closet space, TV, mini-bars with sodas, bottled water and beer that are replenished daily. We just got back from the Sandals Dunn’s River Villaggio Golf Resort & Spa in Jamaica. At Sandals we were upgraded to butler category which was wonderful!!!! It’s nice to be spoiled and not have to think while on vacation. Service in the whole place was outstanding!!! Sandals Dunn’s River is just the right size. The rooms and views of the pool and beach were gorgeous. The pools were outstanding and the beach was nice; not small but not crowded. (more…)

Love Love Loved It!!!!!! My husband and I have visited Jamaica many times, and were so very excited to stay at the Sandals Montego Bay. An easy breeze through immigration and customs, and then on to the Sandals welcome center just outside of customs. We were refreshed with a cold Red Stripe while checking in and awaiting our bus. I had the pleasure of staying at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso in Riviera Maya for four nights. Staying at the Iberostar Grand made it possible for me to say that I have stayed now in all of the Iberostar properties in the Riviera Maya. We were staying at the Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar when the IBerostar Grand was going up. The concierge arranged for my husband and I to do a walk thru before it was completed. Sandals Dunn’s River Villaggio Golf Resort & Spa

Upon arrival at the Sandals Dunn’s River Villaggio, we were greeted by our own private butler (Israel) who catered to us 24/7 for our entire 8-day stay in Jamaica, which included a personal cell phone for “on-demand” service. Some of the services that the butler provides are unpacking of luggage; beach chairs, towels and cooler reserved on the beach daily; dinner reservations every evening with no wait, flowers and candles were always on the dinner table. I recently returned from a trip to the Dominican Republic. All I can say is WOW! One resort that really sticks out in my mind and seems to be above par on every angle is the Excellence Punta Cana. They have some of the best food I have ever put in my mouth. They went way out of the way to make me feel welcome and be able to eat at their resort (as I have food allergies). They fixed me a mouth watering steak and the dessert was to die for, it’s as if they read my mind, not too heavy, not too light… (more…)

Excellence Punta Cana

It was a sad day when we had to leave the adults only resort, Excellence Punta Cana. Upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of champagne and escorted to the Excellence Club private lounge with a brief tour of the resort along the way. After a quick check-in, we were taken upstairs for food and drink. Then we were escorted to our Excellence Club Junior Suite. A wonderful aroma greeted us as we stepped into our suite. Because our reservations were in the Excellence Club we were escorted to the Club where we completed our private registration quickly.
