Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort and Offshore Island
I cannot say enough about Sandals Royal Bahamian. This was my third time there and I just love it. It is only 15 minutes from the airport in Nassau and like all Sandals / Beaches resorts there is no line of guests waiting to check in. You go to a lounge for check in; for us it was the Piano Bar. We are always greeted by friendly staff handing out a welcome cocktail or juice and cool towel - a real treat after being on a stuffy plane. At Sandals Royal Bahamian there are two blocks of rooms as well as cottages. I stayed in the Windsor Block. The grounds are so beautiful, especially the fountains and columns around the pool. They have upgraded the pool area with new furniture and the Zen garden over there is very tranquil.
The 7 restaurants are awesome! The Baccarat Restaurant is very popular so make reservations right away! The Cafe Goombay has the Best Conch ever!!! The private Island is unbelievable. The boat runs every 45 minutes (weather permitting) with the last boat at 4:30pm.
You will NEVER go wrong staying at or any other Sandals / Beaches Resort. Great for a honeymoon, destination wedding, or a romantic getaway…
