The Riu Palace Aruba is a wonderful all-inclusive (water sports are not included) resort in Aruba. After your flight you will be greeted by a GOGO Tours rep and friendly hotel staff with refreshing drinks and your luggage will be taken care of efficiently while you check-in.

My first impression of the hotel on arrival was the splendor and beauty of the place, with its towers, oil paintings, beautiful tapestry furniture, huge marble halls and corridors as well as beautiful rooms and most of all its location on Palm Beach. All rooms, inside bars and restaurants are all pleasantly air conditioned which was very welcome (and necessary) in the humid heat of Aruba. All accommodations are ocean view. The room maids are very good in making sure that you are happy with everything, and they will make sure you are supplied with more than adequate towels, wash cloth and toiletries on a daily basis. The staff throughout the hotel is very friendly and made every effort to make our stay happy.

The food and drinks throughout the hotel were excellent and in abundance. The specialty restaurants were particularly good. (They have to be booked at 9am each day, as seating is limited) The food in the main buffet restaurant is also superb with just about anything you could possibly want available and in large amounts. There are 4 bars in the hotel including the entertainment lounge where there is something on stage every night. My favorite was Barry’s located on the upstairs balcony outside the entertainment lounge.

The pool and pool bar is the center of attraction during the day with music and fun activities throughout the day. The beach was quieter if you wanted a bit of quiet relaxation. The sea is an absolutely gorgeous, light turquoise color and is so clear and so warm. You will love the pool swim up bar and submerged bar area! There are some good bars/clubs and restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes walk from the hotel or a 15 minute cab ride into town.

Aruba is fantastic safe island with no poverty and very low crime rate. Riu Palace Aruba is a great hotel where I will definitely return in near future.
