I stayed at the Valentin Imperial Maya Resort & Spa in Riviera Maya, Mexico from November 27 through December 4, 2009 and was extremely impressed with this all-inclusive resort. The Valentin Imperial Maya is less than a forty minute ride from the Cancun Airport and the best ease of travel is by using the private car transfers. This resort has an impressive white sand beach, two large breathtaking pools, a full-service spa, seven a la carte restaurants, and eight bars. The staff was very friendly and enjoyed interacting with the guests to ensure they had the best and most wonderful stay.

The specialty restaurants and room service far exceeded my expectation. Although I was in Mexico, the French, Italian, and Japanese restaurants were on par with some of the best restaurants in the United States. In addition, The Lobster Pot had the best lobster and seafood dishes. No reservations are needed at these restaurants giving me the opportunity to utilize my time as I wished.

This resort had a lot of daily activities, spacious pools, swim out rooms, and wonderful nightly shows with parties afterwards. During the day and evening you could go to Playa del Carmen to shop and eat local Mexican food, or you could go to visit and experience the Mayan temples. I went to Playa del Carmen and had a great and wonderful time eating and shopping. My next trip to the Valentin Imperial Maya Resort & Spa I plan to go visit the Mayan temples.

I stayed in a Golden Junior Suite and was overly satisfied. The view of the oceanfront was nice and the amenities in the room were elegant. All the suites offer furnished balconies, satellite TVs, high-speed internet access, IPod docking station, DVD player, stocked mini bar, slippers, bathrobes, and a nice Jacuzzi bathtub that can accommodate two. I would eagerly recommend this resort to anyone and I am looking forward to my next stay at the Valentin Imperial Maya.
