Valentin Imperial Maya Resort & Spa
After attending a GOGO presentation of the “Valentin Imperial Maya Resort & Spa“, I decided to take my vacation with my spouse to this adults-only, all-inclusive property. Being a resident of New York, of course, I am critical of just about everything.
This all-suite resort holds up to its reputation from the moment your check-in. You are greeted at the entrance with a flute of champagne and a cool towel, and then escorted to your own private area with a personal concierge at your service. There are no dining reservations required, since there are eight restaurants to choose from and ample occupancy for all. Each venue has its own ambiance. The service is impeccable, and the menu choices are as bountiful. Then after dinner, you have a choice of nightly entertainment from music and dancing to a different entertainer or review show.
During the day I lounged part of the day at the largest pool that I have every seen (also had the best water aerobics class) and then part of the day I spent at the beach which had full service and , of course, made sure to have a reflexology session in the glorious spa.
The property is well located to many sight seeing venues such as the FIFTH AVE area where you get to walk on the cobble stone streets and shop till your hearts content or go to the Xcaret Natural Water Park.
I usually do not care to go back to a destination, since there are so many other places that I want to see, but I would go back to the Valentin Imperial Maya Resort & Spa in a heart beat.
