My recent trip to Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun resort was for a short 2 night stay while working in the Riviera Maya area just south of Cancun. I upgraded to the private black car transfer and would highly recommend this to all clients. This new luxury hotel (7 buildings/3 stories high) is practically in a secluded area, located on a nice quiet beach, about 20 minutes from both the Cancun Airport and Playa del Carmen.

The lobby offers personalized check-in desks. From there, it is a short walk to your room. My room had a pool/partial ocean view. The room itself was very large with a sitting area, full size Jacuzzi in the bathroom with shutters opening to the bedroom and a huge walk in shower. The best part was the “private box” where your included 24-hour room service orders were placed for your privacy. The balcony was large with chairs and a table. All of the first floor rooms offer swim out terraces. I did spend both evenings at the lobby bar and one night I did go to the theater to view the entertainment. The entertainment staff at the Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun was always trying to get you involved (in a good way). I had no complaints about the food and beverages served here. I also found all staff members I came in contact with to be friendly.
