As a Master Specialist I had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun resort in Riviera Maya. This resort has 433 suites that include queen or king-size beds, Jacuzzi bath tubs, bathrobes and slippers, lots of cabinet/closet space, TV, mini-bars with sodas, bottled water and beer that are replenished daily. In the room is a sofa and chairs the sliding glass-door leads to a terrace with a Jacuzzi, lounge bed, table and chairs. My room had an unobstructed view of the ocean with glorious sunsets.The Resort has eight gourmet restaurants, seven of them a-la-carte, offering a variety of cuisine - Mexican, Asian, Italian, French as well as a Seaside Grill. There are eight bars with local and International liquor and beer.

For pampering there is a Spa by Pevonia with facials, massages and other treatments to keep one looking and feeling their best, a state-of-the-art fitness center to work off the calories from the delicious food and drink.

Beside the beach - which has ample chaise lounges, one can relax at one of the many pools, which has food and bar service so you will not miss a minute soaking up the sun and getting that tan. There are a variety of activities to choose from as well as excursions to the surrounding areas - such as the trip to the ruins at Tulum.

Unlimited green fees and complimentary golf are available at El Camaleón Mayakoba, a Greg Norman designed, PGA championship golf course just minutes from Playa del Carmen - only course in the Riviera Maya featuring two holes just steps from the Caribbean Sea.

At night enjoy the live show at the open air theatre, dance to the music in Desires Nightclub or watch a game in the Sports Bar.
