Sandals Negril, an adults-only experience is really my idea of a unique and ultra all-inclusive experience and met all of my expectations.

Upon arriving at Montego Bay Airport in Jamaica, we were escorted to the Sandals/Beaches hospitality area where, while waiting for our transfer to become available, we were able to get a soft drink and coffee. We didn’t get but a few sips in and we were whisked away to our van for our transport to Sandals Negril.

After an approximately one hour’s drive to the property, we were checked in at Concierge level. Our luggage was taken from us and the next time we saw it was when we entered our accommodations. The room was luxurious, comfortable and clean.

Not being “beach” people, I and my escort went to the pool area where there was a party going on! We immediately fell into vacation mode and ordered up the drink of the day.

The various dining venues were, to say the least, very appealing and it was difficult to choose the first restaurant we would go to.

The next day we decided to hit the beach and thoroughly enjoyed it! Negril Beach is beautiful and we were thrilled to give it a chance. Having traveled to notorious beaches where the water wound up being rough, the waters at Negril Beach were calm, warm and delightful.

While staying at Sandals Negril we wound up doing a site inspection as well. The various choice accommodations, including that of the river suites were astounding! Beautifully appointed bedroom and bathroom and you’re able to walk right outside your sliding doors into your private entrance to the river pool. The pool is parallel to the beach–talk about ambiance!

We are very much looking forward to our return trip to Sandals Negril.
