Royal Hideaway Playacar
Distance from airport was a quick 50 minute ride with a lot of scenery to view along the way. Upon arrival to Playacar you proceed past several homes, hotels, shops and a golf course before arriving to the Royal Hideaway. The grand entrance is very pretty with marble floors and tropical flowers. Employees welcome everyone with a smile. The Resort consists of 11 Villas spread through out the grounds with exceptional garden and pond views. Each Villa has its own personal concierge for assistance with Spa, Dining or Tour Reservations. Rooms were very spacious with marble floors, comfy large beds with tons of pillows. Fully stocked mini-fridge and very large closet with a safe, as well as large bathroom with a jetted tub and separate shower and toilet stall. Bathroom amenities included. Great views of the beautiful grounds and ponds spread throughout the Resort. 5 Restaurants with 4 that require reservations and a dress code that applies. Food was exceptional as well as service. The Deck which offered pool and beach side dining offered waiter service and a selection of snacks, salads and sandwiches as well as bar service.
The disco was small and very low key. Very quiet property during the evening. Several pools spread throughout the Resort, some very private. Cabana’s locate poolside to keep you in the shade. Tennis is your game, several courts available. Scuba class offered in the pool for a shallow dive. Not a very large beach but was satisfied.
Overall a great experience! Children must over 14 to stay at this Resort but we did not see one child. Was very sad to leave.Contact the travel agent below to book your perfect Mexico vacation!
