Radisson Tahiti
I had the opportunity to stay at the Radisson Tahiti. The location is outside of town so it is good for those who want to have a bit of quiet while on the island. The resort overlooks Lafayette beach and Matavai Bay. The beach is a black sand beach and there is a fence that goes around some of the property along the shoreline. You can get some beautiful sunsets over the bay.
The rooms are contemporary with slight touches of Tahiti in the décor. It was great to have a “kettle” in the room along with tea & coffee selections.
I had stayed in a Deluxe Ocean View Suite and my view was lovely. I loved the layout of this suite! It is almost like an apartment with the living room with sofa, chairs and TV, there is a bathroom in the hallway and at the end of the hall is the bedroom with master bath. I liked the separate shower / tub and the extra bathroom made getting ready in the morning/evening much easier! The rooms also have large balconies with a table and chairs as well as lounge chairs on them.
The only meal I had here was breakfast and they had a fantastic buffet. There was a wide variety to choose from as they cater to several nationalities.
