The Iberostar Paraiso Lindo in Riviera Maya is a moderate plus choice for families. The rooms at the resort are adequate. There is a refrigerator stocked with water bottles, cokes and beer in the room as well as a coffee maker with a gallon of bottled water to use in it. The bath is a little on the small side with only one sink and tub/shower combination.

 Each section has a concierge who will assist with dinner reservations in the ‘ala carte’ restaurants. Clients may make reservations for every night when they reach the property. We only sampled dinner in the seafood restaurants. The menu was varied and the served food was very good. Appetizers, salad and dessert are served buffet style in most of the ‘ala carte’ restaurants.

The large wave pool is the main attraction. The beach is still very nice and wide, very clean. You still have to walk through about 50 feet of mangroves to get to the beach, from the pool area. I noticed the kid’s club counselors were very attentive and happy and the kids were really being entertained.

The spa is across the street in the shopping center where the disco is located but the gym is further down across from the Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar and next to the convention center. All four resorts share the spa and gym. The golf course looked really nice and the pro shop is located directly across the street of the Iberostar Paraiso Maya. The staff at the resort will also drive you back and forth with a golf cart, no problem.
