My husband and I recently stayed at Couples Tower Isle, Ocho Rios, Jamaica for the third time. We’ve been to Jamaica 7 times, but this is our favorite resort. The journey starts when you arrive at the airport. After clearing Immigration and Customs, you proceed to the Couples Lounge where they tag your bags and offer you a cold Red Stripe (complimentary, of course!) 

Upon arrival at Couples Tower Isle, we were greeted by Byron, Maxine, Kirk, Ricardo and what seemed to be the entire staff! It had been about 5 years since we were last at the resort and it was absolutely amazing that Byron, Maxine and Kirk remembered us! I’ve never been anywhere where the staff remembered us like that.

We had a Deluxe Ocean view room located in building 4, room 4313 (4 is for the building #, 3 is for the floor and 13 is for the room)….the view was spectacular! Our room was just as the pictures on the website represented.

The food was excellent! We ate at every restaurant, grill and buffet! Our favorite was definitely Eight Rivers. Not only was the service outstanding, but the food was fabulous! We also had our share of jerk chicken, patties and French fries during the week at the pool grill. There is also a wonderful veggie bar where you can get fruit smoothies and a healthier variety of snacks.

The staff at the Couples Tower Isle are some of the nicest staff I’ve ever met! Everyone always had a cheery “hello” when you passed them by. Maxine was always around at breakfast and lunch making sure everyone was enjoying their stay. Byron and Kirk always had a smile on their faces and were quick to give a hug! The water sports crew was very, very nice. We had a very long talk one day with Daney and one of the gardeners about almonds and the next day Daney gave us some almonds he had cooked with sugar and some other yummy spices!

There are so many activities at this resort that you could stay busy all day, every day, if you chose. They are all, naturally, included. There are also several off-site excursions that are included as well. Couples is the only resort chain that I know of that includes complimentary off-site excursions. The value of the resorts are outstanding!

Couples resorts are geared toward adult couples only and they go out of their way to ensure that you and your loved one experience a truly romantic vacation.
