Almond Beach Club
I visited the island of Barbados in the fall of 2007. First impression of this place is that it’s decent and clean, but could use a little bit of a face lift. I would compare it to a Holiday Inn or a Best Western. It is one of the few all inclusives on the island, so it will be nice for those seeking an all inclusive, but there are a couple that are a bit better……Exchange priviledges at the Almond Village, which has 4 more restaurants
No swim up bar
The beach area for the most part had a bunch of rocks out front. There was a small area where the beach was nice and not rocky.
It’s right next door to the Sandy Lane, and you can walk over to that beach area, as it’s all public, but you cannot use the facilities of the Sandy Lane unless you’re staying there.
All the restaurants are open air, no air conditioning.
Nightly entertainment
The rooms use regular keys, not the key cards, and the doors do not automatically close.
All things not a big deal, just could use a face lift……
The wave runners we saw sitting out front of this resort cost $60 US per 1/2 hour. Kind of spendy!!!
